Sketch History - Rotherhithe

Rotherhithe is a stone-throw away from Tower Bridge, yet whilst walking through the narrow cobbled streets under old gas lamps and past converted warehouses you could convince yourself that you have entered a quaint little village far from London. However this village packs a historical punch with its links to the famous Mayflower voyage/ underwater tunnelling achievements and also being home to some of the most written about pubs in London. This two hour walk will take you on a gentle stroll around Rotherhithe, before taking time to sketch what we see along the way.
